Remembering 9-11

I know I just said a post ago that I didn't want to talk about Katrina. This image posted is a wallpaper, I guess you could call it that, that I made to remember those lost four years ago tomorrow and for those who have lost homes, jobs, and/or their lives from Hurricane Katrina. I do urge people to donate to the RedCross or the Salvation Army to help those who have nothing. Remember, we're only a few weeks away from the holiday season. Yes, I know I hate that season but I bet that majority of those in New Orleans and Mississippi don't agree with me on that, so try to keep that in mind as you begin your shopping season.

God Bless America! We are a great nation! We will be victorious over those who try to cripple us and thank God for those men and women overseas helping. Thank God for those men and women at home helping to rescue those and help those who have nothing but the clothes on their back now.

The picture in this art is a woman in Louisianna describing to reporters her Katrina experience. I noticed the flag she had hanging from her front porch. Look how well it stayed in tact! It's a metaphor: no matter how hard the battle or time, America will rise above its troubles, and we will be beautiful again!

How bored can one person get....

This is a pointless post but it's my website so get over it if you don't like it. Usually I like to post stuff with substance to it but, well, quite frankly if I blog about Katrina and it's victims I might kill myself sooner. I want to stay away from that for the time being.

It's a Saturday with absolutely nothing to do! I think I have entertained myself with about fifty different things and I'm still bored...and football's on the TV. I'm so sick of watching TV that I don't even want to watch football. It's the Georgia v. SC and I'm twiddling my thumbs saying, "ho hum." I have to get out of this before the Tide takes on S. Miss in thirty minutes. Oh, and Jeff Gordon is going to have to step it up tonight in the last race for the chase because I'm going to be watching my Mike Shula lead the Tide to another victory tonight. I have no more nails to bite watching Jeff...he has to do get in the top ten. He just doing this for drama - that's why it's on TNT...

I'm hearing rumors that Richard Childress Racing is going to merge with DEI...great...now the three will be back on the track with Junior behind the wheel - insert insane amounts of screaming and a disgusting number of drunks yelling "The Intimidator will never die!" here.

Oh for the love of God, I can't even watch ESPN without seeing what LSU is doing for Katrina victims. I'm not being coldhearted. I am just sick of hearing about the Hurricane. I've been talking about it for two weeks straight and it's not going away anytime back soon!

Just play the football games!!
