Brilliance

My husband and I don't have a prenup. Don't want a prenup. If we divorce, we deserve whatever we get! I won't be divorcing him, though. I'm too fond of him.

Enough sucking up.

This couple gets the all time idiot award for the day with just their prenup! From $5 massages to breakfast three times a week, this couple covered everything! First you have to wonder how they last three and a half months but second and mostly you have to wonder how the divorce, some years ago, was done in secret!

Put the blame on loose lips

I have been keeping up with this miner story as well as every other reporter/journalist/anchor/writer/media man with a mic. I have blamed the medie members there for not getting two sources. I blame the International Coal Group for not putting on the flames within minutes of erroneous information. I blame the man who had the phone.

This man was there. He blogged his story. I've come to a conclusion that it's not just one man's fault but everyone's. There are so many what if's to this story but this is evidence that everything that fails in life is clearer when it's over.

The unpaved road ahead

There are so many legalities in politics. You have to sacrifice in order to give to the people you represent and no matter what you sacrifice or what you give, you're always damned.

Never more has it been true than with Ariel Sharon. This link is a brief history and profile of Sharon. I don't agree with every decision the now bed-ridden Prime Minister has made however I do believe he made them with the best of intentions of the Israeli people. I hope he has a quick recovery or finds rest in possible misery.

I'm sure with the March elections coming up, some nervous times are ahead with Israel and the Palestinians. It may be tough to watch, but hopefully Sharon has been a good enough example to lead based on what's right and wrong rather than what's right and left.

Learning from history

Lucy Baxley (D), Lt. Governor of Alabama. She wants to become the governor of Alabama just because she's a woman and Dixie needs a woman.

Please be reminded of how Kathleen Blanco (D), Governor of Lousiana, handled herself in the days and weeks following Hurricane Katrina. It was more like menopause gone wild.

These two women are very similar: Democrats, women, middle-aged, moody.

Now learn from Louisiana's mistake.
