Hurricane called for the probe, not motorists

I read in the news yesterday about Alabama Attorney General Troy King talking about his probe into the obscene gas prices after Hurricane Katrina. King said after thousands of motorists lodged complaints about price gouging, the investigation was needed. He also said that gas prices fluctuated around 20 cents in different parts of the states in recent weeks.

OK, it took a hurricane to get the investigation or a hurricane to get the calls? Honestly, I think it took the hurricane to get something done about the pump prices.

Hey, Troy? Did you not notice prices aroun $2.50 a gallon before the storm? Investigate that!
