It's official now

It is going to take a lot to make me change my mind, however, after a lot of thought and careful consideration, I have decided to change careers. I will no longer be in the media and will be moving to a more stable, human-like job in the real world.

This is a huge change. I'm not announcing it as in I won't be blogging anymore, I'm announcing it now because had I done it yesterday, I would have been fired. I will continue to blog as I can.

I am very excited about the change and cannot wait too learn something new and I hope that this road trip isn't a dead end. I feel very good about my decision. As I said earlier, I have thought long and hard about this and it's just a coincidence that this has fallen on New Years. With the start of the New Year, I hope to bring about good change in my life. This is a huge leap of faith for me, even with my own doubts in my crippled walk with God; I will be taking a huge step that I believe He thinks is right for me. As with any change, I am nervous but I am excited over the opportunities that lie before me.

With the change, this blog may change a bit as well; maybe more of a diary. None the less, I will continue to make fun of news stories I find. If you are a listener of The Lee Davis Show, I will continue to maintain his website as well, so I am not leaving the industry behind completely - and no, I wasn't fired.

Say goodnight, Dick

This was depressing to me. I say good job to Dick Clark for trying during his New Year's Rockin' Eve, and I know I'm late on this blog, but I want to know why he tried. It hurt me. I wish he hadn't. It was painful to watch.
