Remembering 9-11

I know I just said a post ago that I didn't want to talk about Katrina. This image posted is a wallpaper, I guess you could call it that, that I made to remember those lost four years ago tomorrow and for those who have lost homes, jobs, and/or their lives from Hurricane Katrina. I do urge people to donate to the RedCross or the Salvation Army to help those who have nothing. Remember, we're only a few weeks away from the holiday season. Yes, I know I hate that season but I bet that majority of those in New Orleans and Mississippi don't agree with me on that, so try to keep that in mind as you begin your shopping season.

God Bless America! We are a great nation! We will be victorious over those who try to cripple us and thank God for those men and women overseas helping. Thank God for those men and women at home helping to rescue those and help those who have nothing but the clothes on their back now.

The picture in this art is a woman in Louisianna describing to reporters her Katrina experience. I noticed the flag she had hanging from her front porch. Look how well it stayed in tact! It's a metaphor: no matter how hard the battle or time, America will rise above its troubles, and we will be beautiful again!
